Instead of making an appointment mail in a copy of the insurance, inspection less than 90 days old and check or money order made payable to Harris County regardless of your expiration date. E-mail us your Texas plate number or VIN at HCAuto@tax.hctx.net for the correct fee’s.
Or for replacement license plates/registration, send form VTR-60 (www.txdmv.gov) to the same address. If you ordered a sticker online or by mail and did not receive it, email us at HCAuto@tax.hctx.net for a no fee replacement. We will need the plate number and current mailing address.

If you are needing to renew your permanent placard please e-mail us at us at HCAuto@tax.hctx.net so can mail the placards to you, we will need the disabled person's name, address and current placard numbers. For disabled plates, please email us with the details also.

These appointments are only if you have a title application receipt in your name and a hold was placed on title. This is not for initial title transfers.
This appointment is only available if your vehicle title transaction is located in the Mail-in-Title department hold files for additional information or documents.
