Early Voting for March Primary begins February 18

Voter Registration Information can be Verified Online or by Phone

Harris County, TX - Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector & Voter Registrar Ann Harris Bennett reminds voters that early voting begins February 18 and ends February 28 for the March 3, 2020 Primary Election.

“I encourage voters to check their voter registration status before early voting starts for the March 3 Primary Election to ensure a quick check-in process when voting,” said Bennett. “For example, if you have moved and have not provided a change of address to my office, your voter registration must be updated prior to voting.”

Voters who have moved and have not updated their voter registration address information will be required to fill out a Statement of Residence Form. Once completed, a voter will be allowed to vote if they are otherwise eligible to vote. Completing a Statement of Residence Form will also update a voter’s registration information for all future elections.

Eligible unregistered voters who did not register to vote in time for the March 3 Primary Election may register by April 27, 2020 to be eligible to vote in the May 26 Primary Runoff Election.

State law requires that eligible voters register 30 days prior to voting.
