Streets highlighted in yellow are commercial addresses, not residential addresses, and are not to be used for voter registration purposes. Streets highlighted in red are not in Harris County; they are for informational purposes only. When you find the street you want, you can access a precinct map by pressing the "MAP" button to the right of the precinct number. A picture will pop up; to zoom in, place your cursor in the lower right-hand corner and a zoom button will appear. Press this button to expand the map. Press it again to return the map to its original size. To close the map-viewer window and return to the lookup screen, press the "X" button in the upper right-hand corner or by clicking on the word "File" on the menu bar and then selecting close. You can view the districts the street is in by clicking the "INFO" button (to the right of the Map button). Use the slider bar on the right-hand side of the window to view any districts not shown on the first page. To close this window, press the "X" button in the upper right-hand corner. To make a new search, press the "Clear" button to the right of the "Search" button. Warning: Do not press the search button without any criteria entered, as this will attempt to find the entire file. You can find all streets in a particular precinct by selecting the precinct number. To do this, click the drop down arrow in the "Precinct" field. Use the slider bar to find your desired precinct number. Click the desired precinct number to select it, and then click "Search." You can also find all streets in a specific city or zip code by using the drop down arrow and selecting the desired city and/or zip.
